Getting Connected at St Luke's Anglican Fellowship, "a Community of Life."

At St. Luke's, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

PLUGGING IN
Our ALPHA course allows people to discuss the basic beliefs of Christians (in all denominations) in a stress-free, non-threatening environment. After a meal, the evening's topic is presented and a small group discussion, where "no question is too simple or too hostile" follows. Beta builds on ALPHA. This 10 hour course introduces folks to St. Luke's values, visions, covenant and strategy and to the history, prayer book, sacraments and organization of the Anglican Church.

POWERING UP
We Worship each Sunday at 10:30am with Holy Communion.
The Praise Group meets prior to the service at 9:30 and welcomes new singers or instrumentalists. A Prayer Team prays for those requesting prayer. Greeters, Readers, Child Care Workers, Ushers and Servers all play a vital role in providing a meaningful worship experience.

WORD PROCESSING
Bible Studies are held periodically.
Get-a-way weekends allow for concentrated study and learning. The Encounter Weekend provides an opportunity to study and experience the power of the Cross. Anglican Fourth Day is an experience in the joy of the Christian community. A Network Weekend is being planned for the future. This weekend will focus on finding God's purpose for your life with a special emphasis on Spiritual Gifts and personality types.

CONNECTING
At least once a quarter we sponsor M&M's, an informal and informative dinner designed to help you "meet and mingle" with other folks at St. Luke's. Our Home Groups help us connect with others in the community. These are small groups that meet together to support one another, worship God, study how the Bible applies to them and work together on projects that help others. The groups meet once a week in some of the member's homes. Visitors are always welcome. We have many home groups, some with a special focus, and others for anyone, with more starting up as we grow.

GAMING
From time to time we have events just for the sheer fun of it. At St. Luke's we see having fun together as part of our mission - "Embracing and Sharing Life in Christ." It helps us grow closer together and allows us to invite others who might be intimidated by church. Community-wide events designed for friends and families of St. Luke's include such activities as Camping Weekends. Pet Blessings, Christmas Parties, "Church Chats," Epiphany Bonfires, Celebrate Jesus Block Parties, Easter Picnics and Luaus. Home Groups also get together for field trips and other fun events on a regular basis.

SUPPORT
There's a place for anyone wanting to get involved in growing in faith, serving the Lord or helping others . . .whether singing, cooking, serving, greeting, setting up, cleaning up, calling, teaching, writing, making banners….you name it! Find a place where YOU feel comfortable and join in. You'll be glad you did.

Do you have a ministry you feel passionate about? A gift you want to share? Let us know. We want to help to empower people to discover and do the ministry to which God is calling them.

See our calendar of events.

We put out a church directory. If you would like to be included in our church directory, or let us know about changes that need to be made to your existing entry, please fill out the online directory form
