Home Groups

St. Luke's Anglican Fellowship, a Community of Life

A “cell based congregation” such as ours is made up of small groups –
People gathering in homes to share with and minister to one another.

Just like cells are the basic unit of life these “cells” bring life and strength to Christ’s body, the church.

Home Groups meet each week for about an hour and a half. They regularly do fun things together too. This provides a great opportunity to introduce new people to the group. Guests are always welcome.

At a home group there is:

  • Welcome – we get to know each other.
  • Worship – we pray for and encourage one another. We begin our meetings with songs or readings that focus our attention on the goodness and greatness of God and allow us to sense His presence.
  • Learning – we examine a passage from the Bible and discuss how it applies to our lives.
  • Outreach – we plan projects that share Christ’s love.
  • Ministry – we plan projects that share Christ’s love through guidance & prayer.
